Lars Anders Johansson, will join Internationella Engelska Skolan as chief press officer on Monday, February 21. In his new role, Lars Anders Johansson will report to the head of communications, Frida Berg, and play a central role in the IES communications team.
Frida Berg, head of communications at IES, said: “I am very excited to welcome Lars Anders to the team, he has a broad background from both the editorial and political sphere and will bring a wealth of experience to how we work.”
Lars Anders Johansson joins IES from consultancy as a senior advisor in communication and political analysis and as a columnist. He previously worked as editor in chief at web magazine Smedjan, managing editor at free market think tank Timbro and as a public affairs specialist at Villaägarna – the confederation of Swedish homeowners. He has a long background in journalism, as a news reporter and as an editorial writer.
Speaking about his new role Lars Anders Johansson said: “I am looking forward to working with the IES team, highlighting the importance of good education and the freedom of choice.”
