Internationella Engelska Skolan Jönköping is a bilingual school for students in years F-9.
Our school is a safe and calm environment where teachers can teach and students learn, and we are committed to helping every child reach their full potential.
We teach using the Swedish national curriculum and up to half the education in our school is delivered through the English language by qualified teachers from English-speaking countries including Canada, the USA, and the UK.

Ahead of the new school year, Mentor Meetings will be held on August 13, 14, or 17. For students in Years 4–9, meetings will take place on August 13 or 14, while Primary students (Years F–3) will have their meetings on August 13, 14, or 17. An invitation with your specific time slot and further details have been sent to you via mail and email. Students in Years 4–9 will have their first day of school on Monday, August 17, kickstarting the year with our annual House Clash. For our Primary students in Years F–3, the school year begins the following day, Tuesday, August 18. We look forward to welcoming all our students back to school!

Open House (Year 7) - Save the Date!
We invite you to an Open House at IES Jönköping! This event is especially focused on our Senior School program starting in Year 7. This will be a great opportunity to explore our facilities, meet our staff and students, and get a feel for our school culture. We invite you to an Open House at IES Jönköping! This event is especially focused on our Primary School starting in 'förskoleklass'. But we warmly welcome all prospective students and guardians who are curious to learn more about our Primary School (Years F–3). This will be a great opportunity to explore our facilities, meet our staff and teachers, and get a feel for our school environment.
