ABOUT OUR SCHOOL

We create high aspirations for future generations

Internationella Engelska Skolan Södra Änggården is a bilingual school for students in years F-9.

We teach using the Swedish national curriculum and up to half the education in our school is delivered through the English language by qualified teachers from English-speaking countries including Canada, the USA, and the UK.

We believe every child can succeed, whatever their background and so we support every student to reach their full potential. We also have clear rules and expectations and through these we lay the foundation for safe and stimulating schooling, and prepare students for higher education, working life and society.

At Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES), our education starts from preschool age. With us, your child will learn to thrive in a bilingual environment.

The student health team works to promote students' learning, development and health as well as to prevent illness.

English Cambridge International Education

Internationella Engelska Skolan Södra Änggården is an accredited associate of Cambridge International Education. This allows IES students the opportunity to voluntarily take the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examinations in different subjects - globally renowned and the most popular international qualification for ages 14-16. At the moment our school is offering additional classes and hosting the exams for ESL English.

We are proud to offer our students the privilege of taking the IGCSE examinations. This international qualification is an excellent opportunity for students to challenge themselves, gain confidence, and earn an international credential that is highly valued by universities and employers worldwide. In short -  a milestone and achievement in their academic journey.
