Dear Parents and Guardians
The following is in English, if you need to translate it, please use an online translator, for example https://translate.google.com

This year's graduation ceremonies will be held at IDUN-teatern in the centre of town on Tuesday 11th June 2024. Like last year we will have two ceremonies (a junior and a senior one): one for students in years F, 2, 3, 4 and 5; and the other one for students in years 6,7,8 and 9. Unfortunately, IDUN only holds 1,200 people which means there is limited space to seat guests. Those invited to the ceremonies are family members only, it is really important to relay to your child that friends at other schools are not invited to the ceremony, as this can cause issues.

Junior School
The first ceremony will start at 14:30 for students in years F, 2, 3, 4 and 5. The students will meet their mentors upstairs in IDUN at 13:45 if they are in Year 3 (who are performing), and 14:00 if they are in Years F, 2, 4 or 5. For students who are at Fritids and do not have the possibility to go home before the graduation, transportation will be arranged by Staff to get said students from school to IDUN for 13:45. Parents and siblings are welcome to enter IDUN at 14:10. Once all students are in place, family members will then take their seats.

Senior School
The second ceremony will begin at 17:30 for students in years 6, 7, 8 and 9. The students will meet their mentors in the upper lobby at IDUN at 16:45 (Year 9 and performing artists will arrive there at 16:00). Parents and siblings are welcome to enter IDUN at 17:00. Once all students are in place, family members will then take their seats.

As mentioned, IDUN only holds 1,200 people. This means that sadly, not everyone who wants to attend will be able to. Therefore, we have decided that we will be prioritising the guardians and siblings to the graduating classes of year 9. We wish more than anything to be able to accommodate everyone.

So, please be aware that if your child is in year 6, 7 or 8, you will NOT have prioritised seating. You are more than welcome to come and see if there are any available spots, but please be prepared that the capacity may have been met.

To those coming for a student graduating in year 9, please be conscious of this and try to limit your guests so that we can invite as many people in as possible.

We look forward to Tuesday 11th June with a lot of anticipation. For any further information around timings for the day please reach out to your child's mentor.
Thank you
