End of HT 2024

Dear Guardians,

HT 24 is winding down, Wednesday 18th is the last day of lessons for most classes, and grade talks are taking place for students to understand their grades. These will be published for you to see on Friday afternoon.

Despite it being the end of term, there is still a lot of activity going on in the house and staff is going strong to the end! Year 8 students are going to Kulturhuset, this week. Year 9 had their swimming and life-saving test on Monday and are now having drama workshops on Romeo and Juliet. Year 5 and 6 have a football tournament, and some of our Student Care Team are organising a "Julhäng" on Thursday evening for the students who have signed up. Mr Cherry is organising the last House Day competitions of 2024 for Thursday 19th. As I said, going strong to the end!

A jultallrik will be served on Thursday 19th, and risgrynsgröt on Friday as students head out into their Julledighet for a well-deserved break. Students in Year 9 have, together with Mr Orchard, organised a reading Bingo for students to take part in during the Christmas break. Prizes will be handed out in January to the winners.

It has been a full and rewarding HT 24. Year 5 are now comfortable in the building, and all students take the collection of mobile phones in the morning as a natural occurrence.

We wish you all a healthy and relaxing break and look forward to welcoming all our students back on January 8th, and especially year 9 who will begin their last term with us.
