I am thrilled and honored to be appointed as the Principal of Internationella Engelska Skolan Värmdö. Together with competent and engaged staff, I look forward to creating an outstanding school.


My background is within education. I have been a teacher for many years, worked as Assistant Principal at Internationella Engelska Skolan Enskede and I am now in my eighth year as Principal at Internationella Engelska Skolan Huddinge, where I was also the founding Principal.


Having worked within the IES organisation for 15 years, I have witnessed that all students have the ability to develop, and I am convinced that all students can succeed. I have high expectations of students and high standards for our teachers, and together we will ensure that we provide the tools for our students to develop to their full potential. I believe in a disciplined environment and the concept of Tough Love. This is something that will be incorporated on a daily basis to build a cohesive and pleasant atmosphere in the classrooms and around the school. As well as high academic standards, our school will also offer extra-curricular activities in a variety of subjects as well as sports and music. Creating a positive learning environment in our school will allow our students and staff to also focus on the positive aspects of learning which are filled with joy and creativity.


I look forward to meeting our students and their families in Värmdö in the near future.
