Respect, Kindness, and Anti-bullying
IESB Senior school had a theme day during Autumn term focused around the topics: Respect, Kindness and Anti-bullying. Students completed a graphic organiser on respect and ways respect can be shown. They also designed lovely posters which have been placed around Senior school to raise awareness of one of the topics. They ended the day by watching The Grinch movie and answering some reflective questions.
Holiday Circuit Project
Our Year 8 students enjoyed making very special Christmas cards in their Science and Art classes as part of a cross-curriculum project this holiday season. The students had learnt about making circuits in their Physics classes and applied their science knowledge in the Art room to make light up Christmas cards. It requires patience, applying knowledge from different subjects, creativity and lots of Christmas spirit. There were many moments of happiness when the cards lit up for the first time. Most students took home their cards to give to their loved ones.
Art Competition
During Autumn term, Senior school focused on the theme: Environmental Awareness. Students took part in a poster competition to promote recycling. Congratulations to our 1st, 2nd 3rd place prize winners of the poster competition! 1st and 2nd place prize winners received a reusable water bottle, bag, and voucher for Akademibokhandeln. The 3rd place winner received a reusable bottle and bag.
