Concerning the School Inspectorate decision about school rules

IES has received the decision regarding IES Täby and will now analyze the decision from Skolinspektionen together with the school management team.

In the Swedish curriculum, there is a clear mission that the school should prepare students for adult life, and IES believes that school rules are an essential part of this work.

At IES, we believe that everyone, students and staff, should dress like they would in a workplace when they are at school. Based on this general formulation, each school, in accordance with the School Act, establishes, together with the student council, the specific rules that apply to the individual school.
