Introduction from the Principal of International English Schools Breckland

IES Breckland will follow the tradition of excellent practice already established within the organisation to deliver an equally outstanding standard of education to children in the UK.
Teaching is about learning. Fundamentally I feel that we who work within education must have the passion and vision to develop methods wherein every child matters and all are given the opportunity to learn in a safe and stimulating environment.
As educators I believe our responsibility lies within offering a rounded education, preparing our students for life and all its challenges and showing them the means to open new and exciting doors for themselves.
Throughout my teaching career of 13 years, across both the private and public sectors, my drive has always been to raise standards and expectations.
Students will always remember their teachers; we play an essential role in their development and lives. They do, even though many would not admit to it, look up to their teachers as role models. For this reason it is vital therefore that excellent practice is shared and that staff, like students, are motivated and driven also to want to be the best and pursue their own professional development.
It gives me great personal satisfaction knowing that I have helped many children and other colleagues realise their potential, raised their self-esteem and made them feel valued.
I am so excited about the prospects that lie before me now. I have been graced with the opportunity to help the students and staff at IES Breckland pursue their ambitions and gain and share the passion I have for life-long learning. Let our journey to success commence.
