IES Kista Year 9 students have been creating some original drum rhythms over the past few weeks.
The students had to write their own drum piece with at least three different complimentary drum parts to be played at the same time. Within the piece itself there needed to be at least three different sections: intro, main rhythm, ending.
Students were being graded on rhythmic complexity, the ability to perform their part in the group and technique.
