At Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) Hässelby, we offer high-quality bilingual education for students in grades 4–9.

At IES Hässelby, we focus not only on academic performance but on promoting respect, responsibility, and curiosity. And through our strong bilingual profile, we equip students with the skills needed to succeed nationally and internationally.
With our bilingual approach, we teach in both Swedish and English. Up to 50% of the education is conducted in English, delivered by experienced teachers, many of whom are from English-speaking countries. This provides students with an immersive environment where they can develop their skills in both languages. The school offers a spacious schoolyard and classrooms that contribute to an optimal learning environment for every student.

Apply in just three steps:

Most of our schools begin their intake for the following academic year in the autumn term. The length of the process depends on how quickly we hear back from families who are offered places.

There are no fees to attend IES schools. Our schools are funded in the same way as those run by the municipality, through the Swedish tax system and the school voucher (skolpeng).
