I am delighted to welcome you to our website, please feel free to have a look around.

My name is Carolina Browall and I am the Principal at IES Falun and I would like to welcome you to our school and the new school year of 2023/2024!

We will continue to work with the three pillars of our ethos that have defined life in our schools: Command in English, High academic expectations and aspirations and a safe and calm school environment. 

Our founder Barbara Bergström talks about grit and tough love and that is something used in our everyday work with our students wanting them to become the very best of themselves. 

This year Internationella Engelska Skolan is celebrating 30 years as a school in Sweden and that means we have long experience doing what we are doing.

Despite that it is my ambition to help our school to continuously grow and develop along with continuing our preventative work as well as keeping the high quality. And I can see that according to our surveys we are well on our way, the results are very good!

We can see that students, staff and guardians are very satisfied with our school, feel safe, and succeed academically. Our hard work makes a difference and we will continue!

Our staff members come from all over the world, which helps us understand different cultures and be more open and respectful towards each other.

Our students learn in a safe and orderly environment and we create high academic expectations and aspirations, following our founder Barbara Bergström's views.
