Happy Saint Patrick's Day!
Lá Fhéile Pádraig Sona Daoibh! or Happy Green Patrick's Day! to all of our Irish, Irish American, Irish Canadian and Irish diaspora colleagues.
At IES Eskilstuna they are celebrating Saint Patrick's Day today, or "Green" Patrick's Day as they call it, with the launch of a school song. A song for their "Plan mot kränkande behandling". It's a well known viral tune which celebrates humility, acceptance, gratitude and togetherness. Well done to Milo Dahlin, Fabiola Acen and the IES Eskilstuna School Choir. Check out the Irish flute solo at the end performed by the Principal, Mr Brunker. Irish fairy tales are being read out loud in the library and students and staff are wearing green.
