Teacher of the year Mr Fernaeus

Sweden's best teachers were named on Monday evening following nominations from tens of thousands of students across the country.

On Monday, over 1000 teachers, party leaders and celebrities attended the gala evening at Cirkus in Stockholm. This was the eighth consecutive year that the Teachers' Gala was held. Previously, 280 teachers have already been named teacher of the year in their respective municipalities and 21 teachers have also been rewarded as teacher of the year in each county. At the final event at Cirkus in Stockholm, the ten major national prizes of the Teachers' Gala were awarded.The award for the best teacher of the year was given to Peter Fernaeus from our school.

Peter: "Absolutely crazy! I didn't realize that I won even in Sundsvall first, then it was western Norrland and now it's all of Sweden! It's absolutely incredible! "
