Our Collections

At our school library, students can find fiction and non-fiction titles in both English and Swedish. Every student from F-9 has a library account and can borrow books with their library cards. Library books can be brought home, however the student must be responsible and take care of all items borrowed.

Digital Resources

We have access to the Swedish national encyclopedia online, NE.se. Here, students are supported in research and can find interactive maps, charts, diagrams, and videos, as well as articles and other written entries. All students have access to a subscription to Britannica School, an online learning tool and database. Here, students can find information for assignments, do research, browse EBSCO-provided articles, educational videos and other media. All websites provided within the Britannica system are thoroughly vetted for safety and academic quality. Britannica’s information is updated daily.

Legimus & Inläsningstjänst

Students in need of a Legimus audiobook account can apply through the school library. If a student is not eligible for Legimus, we have an Inläsningstjänst subscription, which all students can use.

If a student has a Legimus account registered at his or her former school or the Landskrona town library, it is recommended that they switch ownership of the account information to our school library for more accessible support.

Book Fair

Each year, the IES Landskrona Book Fair Committee puts together an American-Style Scholastic Book Fair. During the event, students and their families come to the school to browse through books and spend an evening celebrating children’s literature.
