Student in Snabba Cash

A Student from IES Kista is starring in Season 2 of the Netflix hit series

IES Kista's Tina Salih is one of the actors starring in Season 2 of the Netflix hit series 'Snabba Cash'.

Tina plays Rana, a 13-year-old girl, who wants to hang out with her friends, even though they are doing things which break the rules. 

The show, which is set in Stockholm, is about two very different worlds, the entrepreneurial jet set and the ruthless criminal world and what happens when they collide. Especially when both worlds are after the same thing - the never-ending quest for easy money.

The Swedish television series, written by Jens Lapidus and Oskar Söderlund and directed by Jesper Ganslandt, has been an international smash hit.

Her audition for Snabba Cash was the first audition she had ever been for.

Tina said: "I wanted to be an actor and I got the chance to be an extra (statist) in the film 'Bullet'. The director of the movie asked me to go along for an audition for Snabba Cash, so I went along. There were maybe more than 1000 people auditioning for different roles. I auditioned and was called back to be in the show. " 

"Being in Snabba Cash was fun because it was an experience I had never had before. It feels good to be in something which is famous all over the world," she said.

Tina has more auditions lined up and is hoping to be chosen for "Julkalender" in the next few weeks.
