OPEN HOUSE on January 18th

Internationella Engelska Skolan Karlstad welcomes all students and guardians to an Open House on 18/1 from 17.30-19.00 which starts in the school's dining room with an information session for approximately 30 minutes.

It is now 2024 and the school choice registration will begin soon. Therefore, we want to give you the opportunity to take part in what our school has to offer. IES as an organization has now existed in Sweden for 30 years and we know what it means to have a good education. We at IES Karlstad have for 15 years equipped our students with a high-quality education so that they are well-prepared for the future. Come and experience how we support and academically challenge our students in a respectful and bilingual environment.

Our focus is to create a school environment where students can succeed and grow. You will receive information from our leadership team as well as some of our fantastic teachers and also students from different year groups. You can ask questions to staff, students and also parents who belong to our PTA (parent and teacher association).

There are many aspects we take into account to create a calm, safe and stimulating school environment. This means that we work actively with mentoring and student health. We have a safe and lively schoolyard. All of our routines including how we start and end lessons create the correct focus. All of these details are very important to us.

After the information session, you are most welcome to look around our various subject classrooms with the help of our students and staff.

We know that a good education is crucial for the success and preparation for the future. Therefore IES Karlstad wants to encourage everyone to come and see our fantastic school before the school choice process starts.
