At IES Karlstad, the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) plays a vital role in our school’s success. The purpose of the PTA is to foster deeper cooperation between parents, teachers, and students, which in turn strengthens the school community. By getting involved in various school projects, we create an environment where both students and teachers can thrive. According to the Swedish National Agency for Education, a trusting relationship between school and guardians is essential for maximizing students' development, and the PTA plays a central role in building this connection.

We are currently at an exciting turning point and are seeking new, dedicated members for the PTA. The previous board has done a fantastic job, but we now have an opportunity to welcome new passionate individuals who are eager to contribute to the continued development of our school. Your efforts can help organize fun and meaningful activities like Christmas fairs, social events, and other family-oriented gatherings that make our school a vibrant and welcoming place for everyone.
