About our school
We implement the “House System” at IES Växjö, according to British model, to get an international touch and to create a supportive environment in the school. The House System fosters a strong sense of community and belonging.
Students and all staff are divided into four different Houses.
And throughout the school year, students earn points for their houses for good behaviour, special accomplishments, competitions and events.
It is a space where everyone can flourish and grow, creating a strong sense of identity within the school that encourages:
We hold regular House gatherings which are organised from 1 class to year 9.
This breaks down barriers between the year groups and creates a sense of togetherness; encouraging the older students to look out for the younger ones.
