Who is Ruth Wise?
It's time to get to know all the teachers and staff who will meet the students at IES Österåker in the autumn! Next up is Science studies teacher Ruth Wise.
“Hello, my name is Ruth Wise and I’m delighted to be one of the teachers joining IESÖ. I have worked at IES Täby for the last four years teaching Science. Previous to this I worked in a municipal school in Österåker. I came to Sweden 11 years ago, having lived in the beautiful city of Edinburgh for 10 years. I’m originally from England, near to the buzzing city of The Beatles, Liverpool and trained as a primary school teacher after obtaining a Science degree. I love teaching and I am so excited to be joining the amazing team that Leslie has built for IESÖ. I can’t wait to meet your children and take them on the fascinating journey of science discovery.”
