The founder of Internationella Engelska Skolan, Ms Barbara Bergström, has emphasised the importance of nutrition in an educational environment for many years.
Our main dining hall on the first floor seats over 100 persons and our fifth floor dining hall seats 60 persons at the time and this is where lunch is served to students and staff every day. The food is cooked in the house and on the daily menu is a main course, a vegetarian alternative, soup of the day, bread and a salad bar.
We have no problem catering for allergies. If a special diet is required for medical reasons (ie food allergy or other illness), the special diet and a certificate from a doctor or dietician should be submitted to the school nurse. Guardians are responsible for ensuring that the school always has up-to-date information about the need for any special diet.
School lunch is of course served free of charge.
