A nutritious, healthy lunch plays an important role in enjoying a happy and productive day at school. With this, we would like to wish you welcome to the restaurant at IES Linköping - "The Foodery"!

We serve around 875 lunches per day and offer at least 4 different dishes. All students can freely choose between 2 main meals, 1 soup option, 1 vegetarian meal and a wide range of vegetables. Our ambition is that all students get a nutritious and tasty lunch so they can perform well in school.

Therefore it is very important that those of us who work in the restaurant, along with mentors and teachers, listen to the students wishes at the same time as we have the job to educate and widen their food experience and taste buds.

The school has, together with the restaurant, an active food council with one representative from each class that meets once a month. There we discuss food and restaurant environment and how to reach our goal: THE BEST SCHOOL RESTAURANT IN SWEDEN!

We offer all guardians to come and visit and taste our lunch. You are welcome either together with your child or outside of their lunchtime. Please sign up for this at the school office and sign in there to get a visitors badge to be admitted into the restaurant. If you have any questions or queries regarding the food, we are here everyday to answer them and discuss the thoughts you might have.
