Dress-up days: get your House Points in!

At IES Liljeholmen, we love to have fun and celebrate the diverse interests and talents of our students. That's why we organize monthly Dress-up days that align with seasonal changes, holidays, or exciting themes that encourage creativity and self-expression. Each Dress-up day provides an opportunity for students to showcase their unique sense of style and personality while having fun with their friends and classmates.

Our Dress-up days include a wide range of fun and creative themes, from Twin Day, where students get to dress identically with a friend or with a group, to Holiday Spirit Day, where students show off their festive attire for the winter season. During Halloween Day, students can sport their spookiest costumes, while on Pajama Day, they can wear their coziest sleepwear to school. Denim Day and Rainbow Week celebrate fashion and diversity, respectively, and provide an excellent platform for students to express themselves in a fun and inclusive way.

Participating in Dress-up days is not only fun but also rewarding. By dressing up and participating in the event, students earn House Points that contribute to their House's overall score. This incentivizes participation and adds an exciting competitive element to the event. Dress-up days also create a more relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere at school, promoting a sense of community and school spirit.

Overall, our monthly Dress-up days are a fantastic way to promote fun and creativity while encouraging students to come together and celebrate their unique identities and interests. We believe that these events contribute to a vibrant and supportive learning environment, helping students to develop confidence, social skills, and a positive attitude towards learning.
