School spirit: getting messy and colorful!

At IES Liljeholmen, we have an innovative House system that fosters a sense of community and school pride while offering students opportunities to compete in various events. Our Houses include Newton, Nobel, Bell, and Curie, and every student is assigned to one of them upon enrollment.

One of our most popular events is the Color Run, during which students engage in playful color throwing and face fun challenges and obstacles while running alongside their Housemates. This event awards House Points to the winning group, providing a competitive element and incentivizing students to earn as many House Points as possible.

By accumulating House Points, students unlock exciting rewards that encourage them to stay engaged and motivated throughout the year. We believe that our House system contributes to a vibrant and supportive learning environment that empowers students to succeed both academically and socially.
