IES Karlstad Celebrates Erasmus Days 2026!
From 12 to 15 October, IES Karlstad joined schools and organisations across Europe in celebrating Erasmus Days 2026, highlighting the importance of cultural diversity, international cooperation and European opportunities.
Throughout the week, students had the opportunity to take part in a variety of interactive activities designed to encourage curiosity about Europe, its languages, cultures and traditions.
During their breaks, students could participate in a European Quiz Walk, testing their knowledge of European countries, languages and traditions. They also had the opportunity to discover traditional European dances, exploring different cultures through music and movement.
Another important part of the celebration was sharing experiences. Students who had previously participated in Erasmus+ projects were invited to share their experiences and inspire others to discover the opportunities that international cooperation can offer.
Interactive reflection posters displayed around the school encouraged students to express their thoughts about cultural diversity, European identity and the importance of learning from one another.
Through these activities, we aimed to promote openness, respect, curiosity and a greater understanding of the world beyond our classrooms.
At IES Karlstad, we believe that international collaboration provides valuable learning experiences and helps our students develop the skills and perspectives needed to become active global citizens.
Together, we discover, share and connect!
