18 medalists from IES Karlstad in the Municipal Athletics Championships

IES Karlstad students achieved remarkable success at the Municipal Athletics Championships during Week 43, where over 700 young athletes competed. With 18 medals earned across various events, our students displayed incredible talent, dedication, and school spirit. Here's a recap of their outstanding accomplishments!

During Week 43, over 700 young athletes from years 4–6 gathered to compete in the highly anticipated Municipal Championships for track and field events. The spirit of competition was fierce, but the dedication and hard work of IES Karlstad students truly shone through. Together, our talented students brought home an impressive total of 18 medals, showcasing both individual brilliance and a strong sense of school pride!

The events covered a wide range of athletic disciplines, including sprints, middle-distance running, long jump, high jump, and shot put. Our students earned medals across nearly every event, with some outstanding performances securing multiple podium finishes. This remarkable achievement reflects not only their hard work and determination but also the supportive environment we cultivate at IES Karlstad, where each student is encouraged to reach their full potential, both academically and athletically.
