How are students involved in decision making?

Many students are active in the student council, which is elected at the start of the new school year, and which meets with the principal and assistant principal on a regular basis.

We always welcome feedback and suggestions from our students, whether they are part of the student council or communicate feedback via their mentor or another staff member. Everything we do in our schools is for the benefit of students, and their point of view is important to us.

We also conduct surveys twice each year, for students to give us input on quality of teaching, peace and calm in lessons and safety in the school. We read them all and share the results with staff and parents, and let them know what we can do to improve the school.
