We say no to drugs

During Week 22, Gävle's community is coming together to collectively show that we say no to drugs!

This invitation is for you with children in primary and secondary school.

We face tough challenges as drug use and crime show a troubling trend in Gävle and many other cities. As a guardian, you need to be vigilant for warning signs. By reacting and taking action, we can make a difference together to increase the safety of our children.

When: Tuesday, May 28 Time: 6:00 PM - approx. 7:15 PM Place: Alfahallen, Gavlehovshallen, Gavlehovsvägen 19

Program: The meeting will start with a joint information session for guardians.

The Drug-Free School and the Field Group will provide information on-site about:

• how young people move around in Gävle
• the current state of drug use
• different types of drugs
• how the body is affected
• signs of drug use and other norm-breaking behaviors
• where to get support and help

After that, there will be an opportunity to individually talk with/ask questions to those who participated on stage, as well as a number of representatives from, among others, the school, social services, police, youth centers, and community organizations.
