UN Day 2024
A day well worth celebrating, the United Nations Day!
At IES Eskilstuna we celebrate it with a Culture Day, where many of our students and staff make their origins visible by wearing traditional clothes or colors from their home country.
In a world that can feel uncertain and challenging, the day is a reminder that we all, no matter where we come from, have a shared responsibility for a better future.
Our choir, together with many of our dedicated staff, have created their own version of Thomas Stenström's “Breathe in, breathe out” in honor of the day. A song that, in a simple but powerful way, captures the perseverance and strength we need in times of uncertainty. Just like breathing, it takes continuous effort to promote peace and understanding between people.
Let us be reminded that even when the world feels tough, we all just need to take one step at a time, breathe in, breathe out, and keep working towards a better future, together!
