New Principal Announcement 2022

Dear parents, guardians, students and staff at Internationella Engelska Skolan Årsta.

We are delighted to announce that we have now appointed a very experienced and passionate candidate for the role of Principal for IES Årsta from August 2022. I, hereby, welcome Mr. Linus Gellerstedt as our new IES Årsta Principal from the start of the school year 2022/23. Mr. Gellerstedt has a well earned record as Principal in Kunskapsskolan, including international experience and he is most enthusiastic about taking on the new role as Principal at IES Årsta. An engaged and experienced educational leader who embraces our IES ethos and belief in visible leadership.

We look forward to Mr. Linus Gellerstedt taking on his leadership role in Årsta and we wish him good luck and success in IES.

May I take this opportunity to thank Mr. Julian Dent again for his dedication and passion starting up Årsta and leading the school with such success for over 5 years. Mr. Dent will be supporting Mr. Gellerstedt with a comprehensive handover together with the school’s leadership team. I  am sure you will join me in wishing Mr. Dent all the best in his move back home to Australia with his family after the summer and welcoming Mr. Gellerstedt to our school in August 2022.
