All permits in place for IES Norrtälje to open in August 2024
Internationella Engelska Skolan Norrtälje opens its doors in August 2024. On Friday, IES received the long anticipated decision from the School Inspectorate that the permit application is approved. This means that everything is set for IES Norrtälje to move into the brand new school building which is almost finished.

The school will be a two parallell F-9 school for approximately 600 students, including fritidshem. The school will be complete with modern facilities, a fully equipped kitchen and a thoroughly designed playground.
“We are very happy to finally be able to give a definite notice to the families in the queue for our new school in Norrtälje”, says Anna Sörelius Nordeborg, CEO at Internationella Engelska Skolan.
“There has been very big interest in our new school in Norrtälje since the very beginning,” Anna Sörelius Nordenborg says. “We are looking forward to cooperating with the municipality to provide a school with an international profile and high academic expectations and aspirations in the heart of Roslagen”, Ms Sörelius Nordenborg says.
