Open House
Internationella Engelska Skolan Upplands Väsby is a bilingual Swedish school with an international profile.
Take the opportunity to visit us at our Open House on Saturday, 15 November, from 10:00 to 12:00
During the event, you will:

Hear about the upcoming skolval process and the next steps for applying to IES Upplands Väsby

Register your interest by scanning a QR code provided at the event
Important Dates

Skolval period: 19 January - 1 February 2026 (mandatory for all children born in 2020)
Main offers from IES Upplands Väsby will be finalized and sent starting Wednesday, 19 November 2025
Please Note

If your child receives an offer from IES UV, you must select IES Upplands Väsby as your first choice during skolval for the placement to remain valid (or contact your municipality if you reside elsewhere).

Choosing IES UV as your first choice without receiving an offer before skolval does not guarantee a placement.

Final placement decisions will be announced by the municipality in March/April 2026.

If we still have vacancies after skolval, we will contact families next in our queue and assist with the change-of-choice process.

If you are unable to attend the Open House but wish to receive an offer, please email info.vasby@engelska.se with your child’s name and date of birth to register your interest.

If your child is not ready to join us next academic year and you wish to remain in the queue for future years, please log in to your application/queue to update your preferences or email us for assistance.
