A Beautiful Farewell: Celebrating Our Year 9 Graduates at IES Trelleborg
Under a bright summer sky, the schoolyard of IES Trelleborg transformed into a scene of celebration. Parents, relatives, and staff gathered together to honor our graduating Year 9 students in a beautiful ceremony filled with pride, joy, and heartfelt goodbyes.

The annual graduation ceremony is always an important milestone. The atmosphere was filled with both joy and emotion as families and relatives, together with our staff, gathered to say goodbye to our oldest students and give them the farewell they truly deserve.
The ceremony began with traditional summer songs that created a warm and celebratory atmosphere. One of the highlights of the day was the presentation of grades, marking the end of the students’ compulsory school journey and the beginning of a new chapter. The students’ outstanding academic achievements and personal growth were also recognised through special awards, which were met with great applause from the audience. The students also received diplomas as a meaningful way to celebrate their time at IES Trelleborg.
Inspiring speeches from staff members and student representatives reflected on shared memories, challenges overcome, and friendships built during their years at IES Trelleborg. The students were reminded that the perseverance, curiosity, and dedication they have shown throughout their time here will provide a strong foundation as they take their next steps towards the future.
As the ceremony came to an end, the schoolyard was filled with laughter, pride, and emotional farewells. We would like to extend a big thank you to all parents and relatives who joined us and helped make this day so memorable, as well as to our staff for their incredible support and commitment throughout the year.
We are incredibly proud of our Year 9 graduates and wish them the very best of luck as they move on to upper secondary school and new opportunities.
