IES Täby Wins Yes2Chess Högstadiet 2026

IES Täby won the national school chess competition Yes2Chess Högstadiet 2026, and secured the first prize of 20,000 SEK after a strong performance in the final tournament.

IES Täby has officially become the champion of Yes2Chess Högstadiet 2026, one of Sweden’s largest school chess tournaments.

The team delivered an impressive performance throughout the tournament and finished in first place in the national final. Their victory earned the school the top prize of 20,000 SEK.

The competition brought together school teams from across Sweden, with matches played during the spring season. IES Täby showed consistency, teamwork, and strong chess skills throughout the event.
