IEST Students Launch New Recycling Initiative for Sustainability

A new sustainability initiative led by the student council is helping to protect our planet. Students designed recycling boxes to reduce paper waste across the school.

This Monday, the student council launched a project to support Håll Sverige Rent and protect our planet. The initiative focuses on practical steps to manage paper waste within our classrooms.

Students helped design a specific recycling box that will be placed in every classroom. To ensure the project's success, we ask everyone to follow these guidelines:

  • Sustainability initiative: Only place used white A4 and A5 paper in the designated boxes.

  • Student participation: The "class helper of the week" will take responsibility for emptying the box every Monday.

  • Environmental impact: By collecting paper separately, we ensure more material can be reused effectively.

A small act can make a big difference. Together, we can keep our school clean and help our planet!
