Survey Results

Dear all,

The survey results are now published and we have seen significant, record-breaking improvements across almost every single area. Thanks to the hard work of our staff and the wonderful cooperation of our students. Here are some of the incredible highlights from this year's results:

The Academic area
Our biggest victory this year is in our learning environments. We set high goals for classroom focus, and you completely blew them out of the water:

Peace and Calm During Lessons: This metric skyrocketed to 84% up from 54% last year and a low of 40% in 2023!

Punctuality: 87% of students agree that lessons start right on time.

Support and Feedback: 83% of students feel helped by teachers during lessons, and 73% feel they know exactly how to improve their work (up from 61% last year).

Extra Help: 81% of students feel they can get extra help and support outside of regular lessons.

The Pastoral area
A school cannot be a place of learning if it doesn't feel like home. We are proud to see our pastoral care numbers climbing higher than ever:

Safety First: 86% of our students feel safe from violence and bullying at school.

Active Staff: 78% of students recognize that adults take swift action against bullying, and 87% agree adults ensure school rules are followed.

Overall Student Satisfaction: Jumped to 77%, a massive increase from 55% just two years ago!

Guardian Trust and Confidence

To our parents and guardians: your trust means everything to us, and we are honored by your feedback:

Quality of Education: An outstanding 95% of guardians expressed satisfaction with the overall quality of education.

Quality in lessons: 92% of you highly rate the quality of our teaching.

School Recommendation: 88% of guardians would recommend our school to others.

Even though our results increased, we remain dedicated to listening to your feedback and working on the areas where we can still grow. For example the food. I have had several meetings the last months with the kitchen staff to make sure our students get back the quality that we had last term. On Friday, the kitchen staff will give us Chocolate Sticky cake and cream to celebrate this school year as well as the upcoming National Day on Saturday.

Thank you for being such an integral part of the IES community. Let’s keep this incredible momentum going as well as giving us valuable feedback so we can keep on improving the education we give to the students. At the last Student Council meeting for the school year we got many suggestions for next year... to be looking forward to in August.

Best regards,

Management team
