A Warm Welcome to School Year 2026-2027!

Welcome to a new school year! We have recently welcomed our new staff members as well as the former ones who spent a wonderful week together preparing an inspiring, high-quality learning environment for all of our students. Guided by our commitment to high quality in education, we are excited for the year ahead.

We have started this first week with two Mentor Days with a focus on getting to know each other. We had an Aula assembly where the Management Team and Student Health Team presented themselves and some plans for this upcoming year. We told the students that in response to their feedback last term, we are dedicated to strengthening our pastoral care and fostering a safe, calm, and engaging school culture:

Student Council Initiatives: The Student Council requested two additional Kingrutor starting this April, as well as a new water fountain, both of which are now installed!

Expanded Student Room: Floor 5 now features a larger games area equipped with a pool table.

New break materials: We have purchased additional balls, a mini-tennis set, and various games to encourage active break times as we are a part of “Move With IES”.

We look forward to welcoming our school community to several upcoming events:

Parents Evening & International Food Evening Wednesday 26th of August: Join us this Wednesday as we celebrate our vibrant international community and rich cultural diversity. Between 3-5pm we are enjoying food from all around the world. 5-7pm we will transfer inside to meet Management and mentors. More details have come from the mentors.

Cultural Themes: Look out for expanded cultural activities throughout this academic year, in the Lunch Room but in lessons and during Theme Days.

Halloween Disco: Event details and timing updates will be published on our website.

Open House & Christmas Fair: Mark your calendars for November 18th! Please invite friends and families to this evening!
