INTERNATIONELLA ENGELSKA SKOLAN
Internationella Engelska Skolan Skellefteå is an F-9 school with a safe and calm environment, where teachers can teach and students learn.
As a parent you have the right to make an active choice about where your child should learn, whether you apply to a municipal school, an independent school, or an international school.
Popular schools, with more applications than places, use different methods to decide which children will be offered a place. While municipal schools tend to offer places to those who live closest, many independent schools use a first-come, first-served system. In this system those who have the earliest queue date are first in line to be offered a place. IES uses this queue-based system.

If you do not have a valid Swedish social security number, contact the relevant school directly by email or telephone and they will help you.
Fill in your contact details, including email address and phone number, so that we can reach you easily if a place becomes available for your child.
Look for a verification email in your inbox and click the link to confirm your email address. If you do not find it in your inbox, please do check any spam or junk folders you have.
Once you have verified your email address you can click “gå till kön” to enter your child’s details. Register the details of your child or children, by using their personnummer in the format yyyymmdd-nnnn.
Add information about any siblings (this may be used if you are entitled to sibling priority) and the contact details for any other guardians, including email address and phone number, so that we can reach you easily when a place becomes available for your child. NB: These contact details are important - if a place is offered then all legal guardians will need to accept it before the child can join the school.
Choose which IES school you would like your child to be in the queue for, then check that you are happy with the suggestion for when they would start, and in which year-group.
Repeat step six for any other IES schools you would like your child to be in the queue for.
At any time after this you can login again using Bank ID if you need to update your contact details, or would like to change when you would like your child to start at one of our schools.
