SUMMER SPORTS DAY 2023

Our third IES Östersund Summer Sports Day! ☀️

The weather certainly was on our side as we had gorgeous sunshine for our summer sports day! 

Our Year 4 - 9 students competed in a variety of sporting events including: the javelin throw, long jump, high jump and 100/200 meter sprint. The students had a lot of fun challenging their class mates and even some of their teachers participated in the activities. There was also an opportunity whilst not at the athletics track to have a game of brännboll in their mentor groups.

Our FSKL - Year 3 also had a fabulous summer sports day! There was an incredible atmosphere with so many of our students proudly wearing their house tops. Our students competed in many different activities to win house points such as shot put, relay racing, sack jumping and balancing a potato on a spoon whilst running.

There were happy smiles all around all day and lots of house spirit from both sports day locations.

Congratulations to all of our fabulous students that participated in the fun day and the winning house will be awarded the Sports Day house cup in our End of Year assembly!
