End of Year ceremony

Summer break is finally here, and we here at IES Östersund wishes you all a nice summer!

And just like that, another school year has come to an end.

All of our students have worked incredibly hard and done their absolute best this year, so summer break has been more than earned and we hope they take the time to relax, unwind and fill up with new energy for next school year.

We would also like to thank our teachers and other staff who have worked tirelessly to make sure our students have had as good a school year as possible!

The ceremonies were a fun affair and we got to enjoy some student performances, listen to a few speeches and everyone - audience, staff and students - joined in to sing Den Blomstertid Nu Kommer and Jämtlandssången together.

This year, like any other, has had its ups and downs but we’re proud of what we achieved in the end and in our students' progress. 

Now, as our principal Mr Reunanen says: eat lots of ice cream, and we’ll see you all again in August!
