Welcome to our new school year! Today marks our 5th school start and it was a brilliant day for our staff and students!
Welcome to our new school year! Today marks our 5th school start and it was a brilliant day for our staff and students!
Mr. Reunanen said that it was fantastic to greet all our students/guardians at the school gates again after summer holiday. We were also very excited to introduce many new students to IES Östersund, who were warmly welcomed by their classmates.
In the playground this morning there was eagerness when our students met their mentors and fellow classmates. Our students then spend the whole day together with their mentor group getting to know one another, learning about IES Core Values and culture whilst beginning to build a class connection. FSKL-Year 4 students also had a special visit from the school principal Mr. Reunanen and assistant principal Mrs. Norén. Visits will be made in the older years in the coming week.
