ABOUT OUR SCHOOL

Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

A busy and active Parent Teacher Association contributes so much to school life

Welcome to PTA IES Örebro

The PTA is a non-profit parent association that works alongside the school to make everyday life more fun, safe, and pleasant for all students at Internationella Engelska Skolan in Örebro. We serve as the link between home and school; together, we can make a big difference.

What We Do

We organize activities that brighten school life for both students and guardians—ranging from school discos for grades 4–6 to lectures and mixer evenings.

Additionally, every class has the opportunity to apply for 500 SEK in "well-being funds" per academic year for class parties, outings, or other great community-building activities.

In short: we love it when students thrive, laugh, and feel like they are part of something bigger.

Become a Member and Support Our Work

Our operations are entirely dependent on membership fees. The fee is 200 SEK per family per school year and can be paid via Swish or bank transfer. Please include the student's name and class when making your payment.

  • Swish: 123 213 74 53

  • Bankgiro: 5765–1630

Your support makes a real difference for both your own class and the entire school.

Meetings – Everyone is Welcome

Once per school year, we host an open PTA meeting where everyone is welcome. School leadership also attends, providing you with a valuable opportunity to ask questions, gain insight into the school's work, and have an influence. You are welcome to send in questions or ideas in advance.

Get Involved – Big or Small

Would you like to help out at an event? Do you have time to contribute to a project? Or are you curious about joining the board? All levels of involvement are welcome. Truly.
