Who is Ensia Subhani?

It's time to get to know all the teachers and staff who will meet the students at IES Norrtälje in the autumn! Next up is Ensia Subhani, who enjoys nature and will take care of the students at fritids.

What did you do before you started at IES Norrtälje?
I have been working at a pre-school before starting at IES Norrtälje and also doing my studies.

What’s the best thing about your job?
The best thing about my job is being able to do a lot of activities and games with the kids which is both fun and knowledgeable. For me, it’s like having my childhood again with lots of friends!

Do you have any pets?
Right now we can’t have pets but maybe in the future. I love chickens, my kids love cats.

What was your favourite subject in school?
My favourite subject in school was art because it allows you to be creative and to express yourself.

Do you have any dreams for the future?
Living with my beautiful family and being in a peaceful loving environment is my dream.

What do you do outside of work?
Outside of work I love to enjoy nature, and doing something creative makes me calm and happy.

What do you do to peak the children's interest and desire to learn new things?
I think the best way to get kids interested in learning is by being super excited and interested in the subject yourself. When you show your enthusiasm, it can totally rub off on the kids. Plus, creativity makes learning more fun and enjoyable.

What is your favourite memory with your students?
One of my most cherished memories with the students is observing their growth and accomplishments, particularly in areas where they have faced challenges. It was truly rewarding to witness their perseverance and success in overcoming challenges.
