Who is Bodil Lundman?

It's time to get to know all the teachers and staff at IES Norrtälje! Next up is home economics and textiles teacher Bodil Lundman.

My name is Bodil Lundman and I am originally from Ljungbyhed, Skåne. My family moved to South Africa when I was four years old, and I returned to Sweden at the age of 13. I am married and have two grown daughters, who attended and later worked at IES Täby. I enjoy traveling and spending time with friends.

I started my IES career in 2016 in Täby, teaching textiles, home economics, and science. I have also had the opportunity to teach textiles and home economics at IES Sundbyberg. My next stop is joining IES Norrtälje. I am very excited to be able to join the school from the beginning, meeting and working with new and old colleagues, sharing work and life experiences between us. To meet the students who have expectations for their upcoming years at IES, how excited they are to meet new friends and teachers, and being part of and contributing to the IES Norrtälje ethos.

The best part of my job is when I see how enthusiastic the students are to learn and work in the classroom, and to see them develop their English language skills over the years.
