Staff take on a sponsored relay for Year 9 graduation caps

On Friday 16 October at 15:00, staff at IES Norrtälje will swap their classrooms for the running route in a sponsored relay to raise money for Year 9 graduation caps.

The challenge is simple: run as far as possible in one hour, following a 1.5 km route around the schoolyard. With colleagues taking turns in the relay and supporters cheering them on, every lap will contribute to a shared goal—making graduation a special occasion for our Year 9 students.

How far do you think our staff will run? Join the guessing competition—the closest guess wins!

Come along to cheer on the runners, enjoy coffee and cookies, and support the fundraiser. Donations can be made via Swish using the QR code on the event poster, with funds going to the PTA Graduation Fund.

We look forward to seeing our school community come together for an afternoon of running,
