Students from Turkey visit IES Linköping

What an unforgettable week at IESL!
We were thrilled to welcome our visitors from Rifat Dağdelen High School, Soma Türkiye as part of our Culture Week celebrations.

Through workshops, presentations, and lots of discussions, our students didn’t just learn about new cultures — our Conflict Management Team taught classes from 4-9 valuable conflict management skills.

Moreover, every single class, from F-9, had the chance to take part in activities celebrating the many cultures in our school. From creating flag wreaths, to cultural show and tell, traditional dress and a class potluck, we showed that we truly are an international school. 

Over 400 student responses to our Culture & Conflict Management survey are already in!

We’ll now begin analysing the amazing feedback to create a plan for how we can keep building empathy, respect, and strong communication across our school community.

Thank you to everyone — students, staff, and guests — who made this week such a success! We really put the “international” in International English School Linköping.
