Next summer, IES Liljeholmen is moving to newly built premises in Midsommarkransen, only 1.2 km north, on the same street as the current school.

The brand-new school building of more than 10,000 square metres provides the space needed for the school to grow into an F-9 school with fritids (educational care before and after school) in time for the start of school in August 2024.
“We are really looking forward to the move, and to welcoming students from the very start of their school-career”, said James Northcott, principal of IES Liljeholmen.
Construction is already well underway at the junction of Tellusborgsvägen and Södertäljevägen. With the architect’s visualisations, it is possible to imagine what the state-of-the-art school will look like when it is finished. In addition to a modern, eco-classified premises and a large schoolyard with space for sports, play, and socialising, the school will have access to three large sports halls next to the school.
