Welcome from the principal
Welcome to IES Liljeholmen. At our school, we always strive for excellence whether it is in our lessons, on the sporting field or in our daily interactions. As a school, our priority is each child reaching their potential by ensuring every student can access learning in the classroom and find challenge when they need it.
An IES school is defined by three convictions, and these are very important to us at IES Liljeholmen:
1.We make sure that we have a safe and orderly school environment where teachers can teach and students learn, we do this through clear and consistent rules and routines that are not just followed, but understood by staff and students alike. This is complimented by the supportive and caring relationships that our teachers create with their students.
2. We have high Academic Expectations and Aspirations for our students. We support every student to realise their own potential. Through engaging and well structured lessons we ensure a quality education and great results.
3. We ensure our students master the English language, English truly is the ‘key to the world’ and in the bilingual environment of our school we give our students the opportunity to not just be comfortable, but fluent in both Swedsih and English.
