Fritids & After School Club

We offer fritids for all students in grades F-6 at both the start and end of the school day

Welcome to the After School Club!

The After School Club is an important part of the school - a place where students have the opportunity to develop, learn, play, and enjoy meaningful leisure time with others. Here, classroom instruction is complemented by learning that is more practical, creative, and experience-based.

At the center, we base our activities on the students' interests, needs, and experiences, while also inspiring them to discover new things. Through play, creative work, physical activity, exploration, and various other activities, students have the chance to develop their creativity, curiosity, and confidence in their own abilities.

Students learn a great deal at the center, often without even realizing it. Among other things, they practice:

• collaborating and building good relationships

• communicating and listening to others

• taking responsibility and participating actively

• solving problems and testing their own ideas

• being creative and expressing themselves in various ways

• discovering and exploring nature, technology, and the world around them

• being physically active and developing their movement skills

 We also place great importance on community, a sense of security, and ensuring that every student feels they belong. There is time here for activity and play, as well as for recovery and rest.

To us, the after-school center is more than just the time before and after the school day. It is a place where students can be themselves, develop, discover new things, and grow alongside others. Here, learning, play, community, and care go hand in hand.
