Fancy Dress Day

What a great Friday and Fancy Dress Day we got to experience! A huge thank you to all our students and staff for contributing with so much creativity, joy, and fantastic costumes.

The Friday before the autumn break, it was time for IES Jönköping's annual tradition - Fancy Dress Day! It is a day when students and staff dress up in imaginative costumes.

This year, we got to meet Cruella De Vil, Chase from Paw Patrol, several dinosaurs, angels, Sherlock Holmes, Harry Potter characters, and a host of other creative figures who filled the school's corridors with laughter and community spirit.

The engagement was high! Our Student Council decorated the school to create an extra atmospheric and festive day. Our kitchen team also contributed to the theme by preparing a spooky twist of spaghetti and meat sauce.

Fancy Dress Day is one of all our important traditions because it strengthens our sense of community and also provides an energy boost just before the autumn break. It is wonderful to see how our students and staff are willing to let loose and spread positivity.
